Daisuke's Story
As the third-generation president of Shinryoku Sabō, I am committed to delivering tea that is both safe and truly delicious. Our family business has continued for generations in Iinan, an area blessed with pure water, clean air, and rich natural surroundings. From these conditions, we produce tea that reflects the warmth and care of everyone involved.
Tea is deeply connected to nature. Its flavor, aroma, and color change every year depending on the climate, and no two harvests are ever the same. Because of this, we approach each season with the mindset of “a brand-new first-year student,” facing nature with humility and working to bring out the best qualities of that year’s leaves.
To create tea that customers can enjoy every day, we believe in sincerity: working honestly in production, appreciating nature’s blessings, and supporting one another as a team. Only through this spirit can we craft tea that brings a genuine “delicious!” moment to those who drink it.
Our dedication has been recognized through the Emperor’s Cup, the highest honor in Japan’s agriculture and forestry fields, awarded to us in 2006 for excellence in tea production and contributions to the community.
Beyond cultivation, we actively engage in local and international outreach—supporting high school students’ green tea latte art projects, welcoming overseas delegations studying regional branding, and hosting factory tours for children to pass on tea culture to the next generation.
Please enjoy the taste of Iinan tea, grown with gratitude, care, and the blessings of this beautiful region.
