As the sixth-generation tea grower in my family, I have always believed that truly good tea must be both natural and healthy. Although my family has been producing tea for generations, we began selling directly to consumers in recent years so we could share this philosophy more openly and honestly.

About fifty years ago, we made the bold decision to go completely pesticide-free. The transition was anything but easy. In the first three years, our fields suffered severe pest damage, and we had to prune, replant, and rethink our methods again and again. Yet, as time passed, beneficial insects gradually returned, restoring the natural balance of the ecosystem. Since then, major pest issues have decreased dramatically, and the tea bushes themselves have become stronger and more resilient.

Because chemical fertilizers can affect both the body and the environment, we also created our own fertilizer blend with carefully controlled nitrogen levels—designed to support healthy growth without compromising safety or flavor.

My goal is not just for our farm to succeed; I want to expand safe, pesticide-free cultivation and help more people experience the true benefits of Asamiya tea. Through every cup we produce, I hope to contribute to the health and well-being of everyone who drinks it.
