Hisaki's Story
Our tea farm sits along the Hino River in Shiga Prefecture, where rich soil and clean water have supported our commitment to organic cultivation since the very beginning. I’ve always believed that tea should reflect the purity of nature and the sincerity of the people who grow it—and I do my best to make sure our fields live up to that belief.
To me, tea is more than a drink. It connects people.
A single cup carries the heart of the grower, the care of the host, and the gratitude of the one who drinks it. That is why I make tea with honesty and respect, using only natural fertilizers such as fish compost and rapeseed oil cake, and never using pesticides or additives.
I also visit local schools to teach children how to brew and enjoy tea, hoping to pass on Japan’s tea culture to the next generation. Through these efforts, I want to share the gentle, authentic flavor of Japanese tea—and the warmth that fills every cup.
