Experiencing Reading World at Chion-in Temple

We had the opportunity to attend Reading World, a unique theatrical performance held at Chion-in Temple.

Reading World is a stage production that combines storytelling, music, and performance to explore powerful human narratives. The event took place in the historic setting of Chion-in, one of Kyoto’s most significant temples, creating a striking atmosphere where art and tradition intersect.

Although our field is different, the themes presented during the performance strongly resonated with us. In particular, the message of living a life that you believe is truly meaningful and the courage to challenge unexplored paths — even when they are difficult or unconventional — left a strong impression.

As entrepreneurs working to build new pathways for Japanese tea through WTEA, it was inspiring to witness creators who pursue their vision with conviction and originality.
