Participating in “IMPACT FLOW KYOTO” Final Pitch
We participated in the final pitch of “IMPACT FLOW KYOTO”, organized by the Kyoto Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (ASTEM) and hosted at Kyoto Research Park.
“IMPACT FLOW KYOTO 2025–2026” is a support program designed to help founders and startups address social challenges across fields such as environment and energy, education, healthcare, and culture, with a strong focus on global expansion.
At the final pitch, we presented our vision of building a sustainable future for Japan’s primary industries by solving structural challenges faced by small- and medium-scale Japanese tea producers. As a result, we were honored to receive two corporate awards—the highest number among participating teams—and were also selected for a subsidy program.
While this outcome is something to celebrate, we see it less as a finish line and more as a starting point. The opportunity to build meaningful connections with the City of Kyoto and financing partners was, in itself, a major step forward.
Although snow had been forecast that day, the morning opened under a clear blue sky. It felt as though Kyoto itself was quietly encouraging us onward.
We will continue to establish a producer-first tea industry through direct trade, and keep creating pathways for long-term impact to flow—across regions, generations, and borders.
