Preparing Our Outdoor Tea Salon and Visiting the National Treasure Kaijusenji Temple

As we continued preparations for our outdoor tea salon at our headquarters, we assembled new equipment and finalized the layout for upcoming events. After wrapping up the setup, we visited Kaijusenji Temple, a nearby National Treasure renowned for its serene atmosphere and historic architecture.

One of the temple’s well-known features is the “nasu” stool—a play on the Japanese words for “eggplant” (nasu) and “to accomplish” (nasu/k成す). People sit on the stool to make a wish, inspired by the belief that just as eggplants bear fruit, one’s hopes will also take shape. After each of us made our wishes, we climbed to a lookout point within the temple grounds, where the last of the autumn leaves framed a breathtaking view.

Standing there, we were reminded that the year is coming to a close. It was a moment to reflect—and to speak passionately about our ambitions and the greater strides we aim to make in the coming year.
