Visiting Nara: Meeting Producers and Discovering TEA ROOM ZEZE
We recently visited tea producers in Nara, where several expressed strong interest in WTEA and our growing global community. Their passion for craftsmanship and curiosity about new tea experiences reaffirmed the importance of building bridges across regions and generations.
At TEA ROOM ZEZE, we were inspired by a beautifully curated space that blends Scandinavian design with Japanese sensibilities. Their innovative drinks—combining Japanese tea with Nara’s renowned herbal remedies and local citrus—were exceptional in both flavor and concept. We found ourselves immersed in conversation with the staff, captivated by their creativity and dedication. It was one of those moments when we genuinely felt our mission come alive: connect you to those who truly matter.
The photo from our visit features one of the friendly deer of Nara Park. They, too, are part of a long cultural heritage—reminders of traditions that have been preserved and passed down through time. We hope to contribute to preserving and sharing such culture through the future of Japanese tea.
