Presenting WTEA at Boost Pitch KOBE #4

We had the opportunity to present the WTEA business at Boost Pitch KOBE #4, a startup pitch event supported by ANCHOR KOBE and organized by Creww Inc..

The event took place at ANCHOR KOBE, a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship located in the heart of Kobe. We were honored to participate following a recommendation from Kyoto Capital Partners.

Boost Pitch KOBE brings together startups and key players from the Kobe business ecosystem. Judges and participants included representatives from organizations such as Kobe Shimbun, OS Co., Ltd., TOA Corporation, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, creating an environment where startups can explore opportunities not only for fundraising but also for strategic collaborations.

During the session, we introduced WTEA, a direct trade platform that connects independent Japanese tea producers with international cafés, tea stores, and buyers. The platform aims to address a key challenge in the industry by improving global market access while increasing transparency around origin, cultivation methods, and the people behind the tea.

Participating in this event provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with corporations, investors, and ecosystem partners who are shaping the future of innovation in the Kansai region. It reaffirmed our belief that collaboration across industries can open new pathways for Japanese tea to reach global audiences.
