Welcoming a Visitor from Norway to Discuss the Future of WTEA
We had the pleasure of welcoming a guest from Norway to discuss the future of Japanese tea and the vision behind WTEA.
During the conversation, we found strong alignment around the idea of selecting tea not only by price or origin, but by the producer’s identity and the narrative behind each product. This perspective resonated deeply, and we were encouraged by their willingness to also support our efforts from a marketing and storytelling standpoint.
We also discussed the importance of transparency and traceability in the Norwegian market — specifically, understanding where matcha comes from, who produces it, and how it is made. These factors are becoming increasingly essential for building trust with consumers.
WTEA is designed to address exactly these needs by connecting buyers directly with independent Japanese tea producers while providing deeper insight into cultivation methods and individual stories.
Through this exchange, we reaffirmed our vision to position WTEA at the center of this emerging demand. We are committed to realizing this direction within the year, alongside the rollout of new features that will further enhance transparency and the overall user experience.
We look forward to sharing more updates soon.
