We recently welcomed a buyer from France to our headquarters, where we exchanged perspectives on building a sustainable ecosystem for the global matcha industry. As matcha prices continue to rise worldwide, we discussed the importance of avoiding market-driven price inflation that excludes the middle layer—both for buyers and for end consumers—and the need for thoughtful balance rooted in long-term value rather than short-term trends.
During the visit, we also learned from their experience as a team that successfully collaborated with a major global streaming platform within their first year of founding. Their sense of speed, decisiveness, and execution offered valuable insights into how young teams can create momentum while remaining true to their core vision.
