Meeting in Times Square: Exploring Japan’s Potential from the U.S. Market Perspective
We met creator Takaaki Yoshimoto in New York’s Times Square to discuss the potential of the Japanese market from an American perspective. Through this dialogue, we reflected on the challenges of Japan’s traditional “market-in” approach to selling products and were inspired by the idea of “time-machine management”—anticipating future needs that have yet to emerge. This encounter led us to decide to launch WTEA, a service designed to fulfill unmet, future-oriented needs that only we can realize.
