Exploring Japanese Tea Connections in Paris
We met with Mr. Abel, the founder of Kiro Tea, in Paris. He graciously guided us through several tea shops in the city and shared his extensive experience from years at the renowned Mariage Frères before establishing his own brand. We enjoyed a rich conversation about Japanese tea and were treated to an excellent espresso.
Beyond this meeting, through over 100 visits, we experienced the warmth and generosity of everyone involved with Japanese tea in France. These encounters deepened our appreciation for the growing potential of Japanese tea abroad and reminded us how remarkable the people connected through tea truly are.
