Sharing Uji Matcha at a Cultural Gathering in Tokyo
We served organic Uji matcha drinks at an event hosted by OTO, a media platform dedicated to traditional crafts, held at the Spaces co-working office in Otemachi, Tokyo. Around 100 guests—many finishing a long workday—took a quiet moment to enjoy matcha as a soothing break.
Throughout the evening, we also connected with artisans of Japanese sake, indigo dyeing, and silverware. Together, we discussed a shared responsibility: how to pass Japan’s cultural heritage to future generations in a modern world. It was a reminder that tea is not only a beverage, but a vessel for dialogue, craftsmanship, and continuity.
