Connecting Leaders Over Samidori Matcha at Ninna-ji, Kyoto
We had the privilege of participating in an event at Ninna-ji in Kyoto, a historic temple founded in 888 by Emperor Uda and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The event, hosted by the Asia Women Leaders Forum (AWLF), brought together influential figures including former Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, former Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, and top executives from major Japanese corporations.
Attendees enjoyed performances of Kabuki, shamisen, and brain-inspired presentations, connecting traditional Japanese culture with contemporary leadership. We were honored to sponsor Samidori, a premium Uji matcha cultivar, for this gathering. Special thanks to AWLF Chairman Ai Sasaki for making this extraordinary opportunity possible.
